The movie begins with the Hendersons, consisting of Kevin (Steven Yeun), Leah (Rodeo 95's Katie Cameron), and their daughter, as they move into a new home. The house seems perfect, but strange things start happening from the very first night. The family soon discovers that the house is haunted by a malevolent spirit, which they try to communicate with and eventually exorcise.
