What makes Lady Vengeance different from Oldboy or Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is the ending. Without giving too much away, Geum-ja realizes that she isn't the only victim of Mr. Baek. She gathers the parents of other victims.

The plot follows (played by the incredible Lee Young-ae). She is a beautiful, seemingly angelic young woman who is imprisoned for the kidnapping and murder of a young boy. While in jail, she is a model prisoner—earning the nickname "Kind-hearted Geum-ja."
