Throughout their career, Luna Sea has released several compilation albums, including (1996) and The Very Best of Luna Sea (2002). These collections showcase the band's most popular songs, as well as rare tracks and collaborations. Their live albums, such as Never Say Die: The Final (2000) and Luna Sea 20th Anniversary Special Show (2006), demonstrate the band's energetic and captivating stage presence.

Luna Sea disbanded in 2000, but their music continued to inspire fans. In 2010, the band members reunited for a single performance at the Nippon Budokan, marking the 20th anniversary of their debut. Although they have not officially reunited since, their music remains popular, and their influence can be seen in many Japanese rock bands.

Luna Sea's fifth studio album, (1999), is often regarded as one of their best works. The album's themes of love, life, and death resonated with fans, and songs like "Storm" and "Love Song" remain fan favorites to this day. The band's sixth and final studio album, Another (2000), was a commercial success, featuring hits like "Shinsei" and "La Llorona."
