This is a specific request for a (a 500GB Laptop Thin Hard Drive). Please note: Firmware updates for traditional hard drives are extremely rare compared to SSDs. Seagate typically only issues them to fix a specific, identified bug (e.g., erratic SMART readings, head parking issues, or compatibility with a particular laptop BIOS).
